Soon after the morning break the high ramparts of Eggardon Hill come into sight
It is cold but clear and dry underfoot - good walking weather
the recent sunny weather has stimulated the grass to grow so everywhere looks bright green
Eggardon Hill is the Lunch stop today, if we can find a sheltered spot
The clear bright weather allows beautiful views
