A recording of the route taken from my mobile phone - I went anticlockwise.
Looking back towards the Castle and the hills beyond to the East.
A panorama view of the valley ahead, looking West.
The view across Poole Harbour from Knowle Hill.
Farm buildings at Church Knowle nestle in the valley.
The long and winding road...
A shady path down onto the farmland.
Until a few weeks ago these fields were muddy, but the warm sunny weather has dried it all so now cracks are appearing in the fields of barley.
An errant stalk of Oats stands proudly in the barley.
The track up to Swyre Head from Kimmeridge, temperature 30s Celsius .....
..... and the same place taken about 4 months ago, temperature 30s Fahrenheit!
View along the coast to the West from Swyre Head.
The Clavell Tower at Kimmeridge with Portland in the distance.
The Isle of Wight looming through the haze, from Swyre Head.
Looking down on Encombe House from Swyre Head.
Picturesque setting for Blashenwell Farm, on the way down from Kingston to Corfe Castle.
East Orchard House.
Cottage in Corfe Castle
The road in to the centre of Corfe Castle village.
One of the ruined bastions of the Castle - the stone work is beautifully crafted considering that it was built several centuries ago.
