Everything taken away, nets packed up again never to be used again on the track
Six o'clock and the sun comes up in a clear blue sky - the overnight mist has gone
The mist lingers in the valley looking like a sea of cotton wool
Chris looking a little less boyish with his stubble
More mud! We couldn't understand how the porters were so sure footed - constant practice we supposed
After the inevitable long climb we stop for a rest under a huge cobweb which stretches up into the tree - not showing up well in the photos
Time for a little more history
This may have been from the war.
Another little memorial.
The views open out a little
Down the steps with the porters giving us a hand
A timely break and a swim for some
John and Tony having a break
... and another walker's memorial
The end of today's walk at Ioribaiwa
Lunch time and more rolls
There is a bit more room in our dormitory today
Two playful little chaps bound out to see us
We all have good appetites especially for this chicken curry with rice
