Day 7
Sunny and warm, becoming hot with no breeze.
Today we went to Lagazuoi to see a reenactor in the appropriate uniform explain to us what happened on this border between the armies of Austria and Italy in the First World War. We arrived at Falzarego by bus and took a lift up to Lagazuoi and the old fortifications.
Following the talk, we separated and our group embarked on a long walk through a very quiet stretch of rugged country finally passing the Cinque Torri not far off to the South and passing remains of the Italian First War Hospital, before catching the bus home.
