Sunny, not quite so hot but very pleasant.
On this rest day we decided to explore more of the plateau and use as many lifts and cable cars as we could, using our lift passes.
We walked into Corvara along the scenic river valley walk, and took the Col Alto cable car and the Baia Fraida chair lift and thence the walk up to Piz la Ila, having (a very expensive) lunch at the Rifugio there.
After lunch we took the Piz la Ila cable car down to La Villa to take the Gardenaccia chair lift up and almost immediately back to La Villa.
We retraced our steps taking the Braia Faraida chair lift and the Col Alto cable car back to Corvara for the bus back to the hotel.
About 8 miles and 8 lift journies!
