The route walked as recorded on my HTC phone using OruxMaps.
Corfe Castle in morning sunshine.
Boundary stone. This stone marks the boundary between the parishes of Steeple & Kimmeridge.
The view of Gad Cliffs from Ridgeway Hill West of Corfe Castle. The village in the foreground is Church Knowle.
Grange Arch on the ridgeway path.
Almost all the land in the picture is subject to Ministry of Defence control being Part of the Army Ranges.
The high ground in the picture is the ridge East of Kimmeridge towards Swyre Head in the distance.
Looking from the path up to Swyre Head, Corfe Castle and beyond is Poole Harbour.
The cliffs above the Needles on the Isle of Wight loom in the distance, obviously once connected to the ridge centre picture.
Encombe House lies in the bowl in its beautiful setting. The distant headland is St Aldhelm's Head.
